Now thats a pretty unfortunate solution to the issue of not every spec getting another tier bonus. The only right thing do to in such a mixed setting would be to just deactivate the S3 tier bonuses entirely. Should be right up in Blizzard's alley anyways, since its likely gonna stretch the progress a tiny bit. Imagine the fun of getting your first new piece of tier to drop, just to stash it because the ilvl upgrade is probably not worth loosing the 4 pc. The 2nd new piece is likely gonna be enough to drop the S3 4pc, but still leave a bitter side taste, since youre loosing a gameplay altering effect for well, a chunk of passive stat increases.
it's just stupid if it's the same set, exactly the same, so it should be counted, if Blizzard wanted fairness compared to those who get the set from S1/S2, they should have slightly changed the set from S3 (for example, with Rpaladin, it would be enough for the set trigger to count as for Greater Judgment encounters Expurgation so also for Expurgation met Greater Judgment
kind of lame people who don't have the same tier list can go 2 2 and get both 2 pieces while we cant. in fairness we should be able to double dip. even if the 2nd 2 piece is half as powerful
Does this mean you can double up on 2 set bonuses though?
well this sucks
The sad part is you could mix and match them because majority gonna play the SAME tierset you have been playing for 6 months, how lazy is that from a dev standpoint? Why was it even and idea in the first place? Same raids, same dungs, same items, no, its not enough, you do all of that with the same playstyle.
It's understandable the 2x 2pc bonus, but to not allow pieces to match is a very annoying limitation for an off-season. You're going to lack stamina and healing for content because it breaks your tier thus making most specs unplayable. Let people equip upgrades right away.
So people who have the same S3 set get screwed over until they can get the full S4 tier set. Awesome.
So u have to wait 2 weeks to get your old 4set back (Heroic/M+ raiting = 1 piece, Catalyst 1 piece per week = 3 pieces)
I mean, yes? Kind of obvious they would do it like this. The sets don't even have the same name or appearance. I'm surprised anyone would think that Blizzard would allow combining sets from previous seasons. How long have you guys been playing again? You should know Blizzard's MO by now. Honestly it would have been better for them to just make entirely new sets instead of being lazy and rehashing what we already had, but here we are.
